NEW YOGA AT ASPIRE WHITBY

Starting Fall 2023 – we’re offering yoga for all skill and ability levels.

All classes are included with active memberships and day-use entry (day passes and punch passes). Plus, the first class is on us!

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow Yoga integrates breath and movement. Through flowing sequences, students enjoy a dynamic and energetic atmosphere, allowing them to reach new levels in their yogic practice. Vinyasa classes are best if you are already physically active, comfortable with the basic yoga postures, and appreciate a healthy sweat.

Yoga for Beginners

If you are new to the practice of yoga or coming back from a long break, this class will bring you back to the fundamentals. We will explore the basic stretches and sequences as we link breath to movement. This class will be gentle and informative to build a stronger practice. Let’s begin your journey!

Yoga Mats

Yoga Questions & Answers

What should I wear?

Pants or shorts will work fine for yoga as long as they are comfortable.  A shirt that is somewhat fitted will also work best for Yoga and no shoes or socks.

Do I need a mat?

We offer free mat rentals but it's always best to have your own if you’re thinking of attending more frequently.

Do you have showers?

Yes.  We have one shower in both the women’s and men’s restrooms.  You do need to bring your own towel and soap.

Do I need to reserve online?

It is recommended that you book online ahead of time as spots are limited.  Walk-ins are welcome at the welcome desk to check and see if a spot is open.

Where is class held?

We have set up an inviting and comfortable space in our front lobby area for all yoga classes.  Since the gym is closed during yoga classes, you’ll have no distractions or noise other than the sound of your breath rising and falling.

What if I register online for a class but can’t make it?

Please email whitby@aspireclimbing.com

How old do you have to be to participate?

The recommended minimum age is 13.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
