  2. Rope abrasion or entanglement; injuries resulting from falling climbers or fallen items; failure of ropes, slings, climbing holds, anchor points, or any part of the climbing wall;

  3. Collision with other equipment or structures; collision with other persons; illness or trauma; the proximity of medical care which may or may not be readily available;

  4. The failure to act safely or within one’s ability or to stay within designated areas; negligence of other climbers and/or other persons; and negligence on the part of Aspire Climbing, or its staff, including the failure on the part of Aspire Climbing or its staff to safeguard or protect individuals from the risks, danger and hazards of the activities.

Safety Policy

Consumption of alcohol or any other substance which would impair one’s senses or judgement before or while using the facilities of Aspire Climbing is strictly prohibited.

The use of ninja obstacles, weights and training areas is not permitted until a participant has completed the prerequisite safety and etiquette orientations.

Top-rope climbing, lead climbing, auto-belay climbing and bouldering in any climbing area in the facility is not permitted until a participant has completed the prerequisite top-rope belay test, lead test, auto-belay orientation and/or bouldering orientation.

Participants must tie directly into the climbing harness when engaging in top-roping or lead climbing with a figure-8 follow-through knot and a double fisherman's keeper knot only. All top-rope and lead climbing must be performed using a GriGri and locking carabiner. Roped climbers and belayers must only use gear that has been approved by Aspire Climbing staff.

Participants ages 13 and older may only belay after passing the prerequisite belay test. Lead climbing or belaying lead climbers is only permitted once certified by Aspire Climbing. Lead climbers must clip each bolt in sequence on all routes. Lead climbers will provide their dynamic climbing rope, GriGri belay device and locking carabiner and assume full responsibility for the safety and integrity of their gear. Said gear is subject to approval by Aspire Climbing staff and may be deemed unfit for use if questionable wear is visible. Lead climbers must not exceed the weight of the belayer by a factor of 1.35. Weight differences exceeding this factor are deemed unpredictable and unsafe.

Climbers assume responsibility for their choice in belayers. For top-roping, Aspire Climbing provides ropes, anchors and belay devices but will not be responsible for poor judgment by an ill-chosen belayer. Top-rope climbers must not exceed the weight of the belay by a factor of 1.8. Weight differences exceeding this factor are deemed unpredictable and unsafe.

Formal or informal teaching or coaching of individuals or groups, including but not limited to top-rope belaying, lead belaying, bouldering, ninja obstacle use, technical skills or exercises may only be performed by Aspire Climbing staff, except by special arrangement. In such an event, Aspire Climbing assumes no responsibility for lessons taught by others. Instruction by non-Aspire Climbing staff is not permitted on the premises, which includes inside or outside the building in the parking lot.

Participants understand that climbing privileges will be revoked if engaging in any activity is deemed unsafe by the staff and places others or themselves at risk of injury.

All climbers must promptly report any equipment defects, unsafe situations, or accidents.

Important Note About Small Children

Aspire is many different things! We are a family-friendly facilities with a strong focus on growth and development. We welcome a wide range of ages and promote a sense of adventure, challenge, & participation in fitness through the exciting sports of climbing and ninja for all who visit us.

To appropriately manage the expectations of parents and guardians visiting Aspire locations, it is important to understand that our environment is not ideal for smaller children under the age of 5. Participants must be 5 years and older to use our facilities unless they are enrolled in one of our programs designed for ages 4 and up. We are not an indoor playground or play-park; we do not offer open spaces with soft play obstacles, free play running, gymnastics & tumbling or toddler areas.

For the safety of all members & guests, children ages 12 are not permitted on the ninja course or climbing areas without active adult supervision; this is to mitigate potential injury of not just the child, but other active climbers and ninjas as well. Hands-on support, active assistance and supervision by an adult is required for all participants ages 12 and under with a maximum ratio of 3 children per adult.

Aspire is a place where first-time experiences happen alongside competitive training; to ensure the health and safety of all guests and members in our community, acknowledgement and participation in these facility standards is required by all.

If the membership begins on the first of the month, the first payment will be an upfront cost of 3 months. If the membership starts within the month, the first month is prorated based on the number of days remaining, PLUS the upfront cost of 2 full months. Hence the 2+ month commitment. The first automatic payment will be processed at the 1st of the month following the initial 2+ month term.

To enter into an EFT membership agreement, a valid Visa or Mastercard is required for automatic payments. Card information is recorded and encrypted via and is authorized for EFT monthly payments only. No other payments can be processed through this method. Card numbers are never stored on customer accounts outside of EFT encrypted payments.

If the member fails to update payment information within 5 business days, an additional $10 service fee may be charged with the risk of termination.

For expired credit cards, the member has up to 5 business days to update payment information through the online membership change form, over the phone or in person. If updated credit card information is not provided within 5 business days, a $10 service fee will be charged per week with the risk of termination.

Billing Cycle

The billing date for EFT memberships is the 1st day of each month. The cycle commences on the first month after the 2+ month prepaid term has completed. Charges will be applied to the credit card authorized for EFT. Members are responsible for maintaining good standing with payments. Keep credit card information up-to-date to avoid late fees or cancellation from non-payment.

EFT memberships will continue until cancellation is requested by the member or the individual responsible for monthly payments. Requests must be made through the online membership change form or by emailing the applicable Aspire Climbing location. Cancellations within the initial 2+ month start-up term are subject to a $20 early cancellation fee. After cancellation, memberships will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

The automatic billing cycle will resume on the 1st of the following month. The initial 2+ month start-up commitment is not required upon reinstatement.
