Join us for an inspiring day that celebrates strength, resilience, and inclusivity in the climbing community. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or brand new to the wall, this event is your chance to challenge yourself, connect with others, and experience the power of climbing.

This year’s event proudly welcomes members of Team Canada’s Paraclimbing team, giving you the chance to watch and cheer on athletes who represent our country on the international stage. Their skill, determination, and spirit are nothing short of inspiring — and they deserve our full support.

Climbers ages 7+ can take part in our Adaptive Climbing Event, while the Para Climbing Competition welcomes athletes 12 and older. Spectators can also enjoy an inspiring keynote speaker and a vendor market filled with meaningful finds and gifts.

Unstoppable Tracy
is coming to
Aspire Whitby!

Tracy Schmitt is a Canadian athlete, motivational speaker, and quadruple amputee who continues to redefine what’s possible. A bronze medalist in alpine downhill para-skiing at the Ontario Parasport Games and an inductee into the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame, Tracy’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience and drive.

Join us to hear her remarkable story and be inspired to pursue your own goals with courage and determination.

ADAPTIVE CLIMBING EVENT

From first-timer's to seasoned pros! This inclusive event is all about challenging yourself, having fun, and connecting with others. Whether it’s your first climb or you’re looking to push your limits, every climb is a chance to discover your strength, resilience, and have fun. Come experience the benefits of climbing and meet other adaptive climbers.

What you'll experience:

Try climbing on different routes suited to your ability
Build confidence, strength, and coordination.
Connect and socialize with other climbers in a fun, positive and welcoming community.
Experience the joy and accomplishment of reaching new heights—literally!

PARACLIMBING COMPETITION

December 6th - Starts at 2:30pm

For ages 12 and up, this competition is a way to climb, compete and meet other paraclimbers in a supportive space.

Climbers will each get 2 attempts on 2 different routes and experience the variety and challenge of the various para routesetting.

Paraclimbing Routesetting Clinic

We're thrilled to welcome Jane Cuff to Aspire Whitby on December 3rdh for the Para Climbing setting clinic.

Come learn how to design routes that are both challenging and accessible for climbers of all abilities.

This session will cover key principles of adaptive movement, hold selection, rigging techniques and inclusive route design, helping setters create meaningful experiences for every athlete.

Build your skills, gain new perspectives, and help make climbing more inclusive for all.
